Elizabeth DeMasellis has been a dedicated preschool teacher with over 15 years of experience. She has her bachelor’s in Early Childhood Studies from Walden University. Her journey in early childhood education has been more than just a profession; it’s been a calling guided by her love for Christ. From the moment children step into her classroom, they are enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth, acceptance, and love. Her passion for Jesus infuses every aspect of our daily routines, activities, and interactions. She believes that laying a solid foundation for Jesus’s love is as essential as teaching ABCs and 123s.
Her teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every child is a precious gift from God, uniquely created and endowed with potential. Whether we’re exploring nature, engaging in creative play, or delving into stories from the Bible, she encourages her students to approach each experience with wonder and joy. Teaching is not just about imparting knowledge but also about shaping character, instilling values, and fostering a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ. Her heart’s desire remains to build a solid foundation for Jesus’s love and a love for education in the hearts of the little ones entrusted to her care. Mrs. DeMasellis has been married for 18 wonderful years. Her husband is also a teacher at LCS and teaches 9th grade Bible and K-12 P.E. Together they have 4 children who all attend LCS. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, homesteading, making sourdough, raising chickens, and coaching various sports at LCS. She wants every student interaction to be filled with grace, truth, and love the way Jesus speaks to her.
Her favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” (ESV)
