Holly Kimberlin joined the Livingston Christian Schools’ faculty in 2007. In addition to teaching first grade, she has taught preschool, pre-K, and sixth grade. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University in Elementary Education. Holly is also trained as a teacher of Excellence in Writing.
Holly believes that building relationships with her students and their families, along with a variety of hands-on learning opportunities, is the key to a successful learning environment. She believes it’s of the utmost importance to pray for and with each student in her class. When not in the classroom, Holly enjoys being with her family, gardening, and vacationing. She also loves serving at her church in the children’s ministry.
“I am very passionate about Christian education. I believe that the Lord has called me to teach at LCS. He has given me the opportunity to work in an environment with wonderful families, staff, and students. I feel very blessed to be in such an amazing school.“
Her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” (ESV)
